What is Culini?

Culini is a web-based content management system, specifically designed with restaurants in mind. Manage your online presence, update your menus and latest news, display pictures of your restaurant and keep your customers involved easily and professionally. Put simply, Culini will make you a professional website for your restaurant.

What can I do with Culini?

Culini offers a wide range of services. Our mission is to provide a professional online presence for every restaurant. We accomplish this by giving you a very easy way to let the world know where you are, what you do, and what food they should come eat. Our whole company is defined by how easy we can make that process for you.

Is there anything else like this out there?

Short answer? No. There are plenty of other services that let you blog about your restaurant or give you a super complicated html editor interface to edit your site. We understand all those complications are just that. Complications. We try to keep things as simple as possible to make managing your website as easy as possible.

How can I make my Culini site look the way I want?

Culini values self expression as one of it's main functions. We are continually developing new themes and layouts for your site. Once you've found the theme that fits your style, tweak the colors in our live preview color palette manager. We do our best to let you get it just right.

Can I use my own domain name?

Culini tries to make urls easy to use by giving each account their own subdomain. There are many restaurants that want further customization and want to use their own domain (ex: www.myrestaurant.com). Culini supports this easily and painlessly. With any premium account, it's as easy as configuring your domain to point to Culini. We are there to help you through each step.

What is the difference between menus, sections and items?

Menus are a tricky thing to easily manage. Culini tries to accomplish this by providing Menus (ex: Lunch, Specials, Wine) which consist of sections (ex: Appetizers, Dessert, Beverages). Those sections consist of the items themselves. Using this structure, it makes it very easy to rearrange large blocks of items rather than having a large pile of items that are difficult to manage.
