Domains
- What is a domain name?
- Can I use my own domain name?
- Can I register a domain name with you?
- What will my domain name be like for Culini?
A domain name is a registered address that refers to a certain website. For example, "google.com" is a domain name. Domain names are used to more easily remember the "Address" at which a website can be found.
Yes. If you have a domain name that you have registered, you can use your Culini subscription to host that website's content. We have a detailed guide in the Domains section of the admin panel
No. At this time and for the forseeable future, Culini will not be offereing domain registration. However, there are several excellent sites that provide such a service, such as GoDaddy, Network Solutions and Dreamhost
Culini makes use of subdomains to provide shorter, clearer domains. That means you'll need to decide what you want your subdomain to be. For exmaple, if Alex's Cafe wants a memorable domain, they may select alex.culini.com. Big Sur Restaurant may select something like bigsur.culini.com for example. Each subdomain must be unique.
